Client portal
The client portal, at /clientportal on your domain, is where customers sign in to deal with you without phoning. It carries your business name and logo.
Accounts
Customers create an account from the portal, or you invite them from their customer profile with Send portal invite. Portal Accounts (under People) lists every account; from there staff can reset a password, message the customer or remove the account.
Customers can turn on two-factor sign-in, which emails a one-time code at each sign-in. Each code allows five attempts.

Approvals and signatures
Estimates and extra-work requests sent from a repair ticket appear under Action needed. The customer approves or declines, and signs by drawing or typing their name. The signed approval and the authorised total are recorded on the job.
For a single repair, the private tracking link does the same without a sign-in.
Documents for signature
Document Vault (under Finance) sends any document for e-signature by email. The customer signs on a signing page, and the signed record is filed in the vault with who signed, when and from which IP address. The vault also gathers invoices, trade-in agreements and signed service calls, and can place a document on legal hold.
